Job Responsibilities

HR Strategic Planning & Operations Management

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term HR strategies and annual plans that align with company goals.
  • Evaluate current HR practices, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish and oversee the execution of HR policies within the organization.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, organizational structures, HR forms, and related documentation to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor HR team members to optimize their performance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present monthly HR reports to the Board of Directors.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management

  • Design and implement annual recruitment strategies that align with business growth objectives.
  • Manage workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing and resource utilization.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of top talent based on business needs and market conditions.

Compensation, Benefits & Incentive Programs

  • Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with social, health, and unemployment insurance regulations.
  • Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Design and refine HR incentive programs to enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize incentive programs for effectiveness.
  • Oversee social, medical, and unemployment insurance processes and reporting.
  • Manage visa and work permit procedures for expatriate employees.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce HR policies in alignment with employment laws and regulations.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture that fosters diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
  • Serve as a bridge between management and employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring clear communication.

HR Metrics, Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment costs) to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive HR reports to management, offering insights and recommendations.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Fintech, Banking, Insurance, or IT industry. Experience in setting up a new office is a plus.
  • Extensive expertise in Organizational Development.
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Korean or Japanese is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor of Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.
