Job summary

Our client is FDI chemical trading company. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Client Service / Junior Trader to join our dynamic team. This offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade, client management, and logistics. As part of the Junior Trader department, you will play a key supporting role in daily operations while learning valuable industry skills that will set the foundation for a successful career in trading and supply chain management.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide a smooth and professional customer experience by supporting all operational aspects of sales transactions, from order initiation to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate daily trading and sales operations including order processing, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments (logistics, finance, warehouse) and customers to ensure smooth sales execution.
  • Prepare and manage sales-related documentation: quotations, contracts, invoices, shipping documents, etc.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in procurement planning to meet customer demand.
  • Handle after-sales service and respond to client inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist Senior Traders in client communication, market research, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal sales processes and customer satisfaction metrics.

Experience requirements


  • 2-5 years of experience in sales support function of a trading company of similar enterprise related to petrochemicals and polymers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High level of client communication skill, eagerness to become a center point in delivering best-inclass customer experience
  • Good command of English (written and spoken); Chinese is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Experience in working with ERP 
  • systems, customs documents, warehouses
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic trading environment.

Education requirements

Education:

  • Degree in International Business, Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Monthly salary: USD 1,200 – 1,400
  • 100% salary during probation period
  • Private health insurance provided
  • Performance bonus: up to 25% of annual package (equivalent to 3 months' salary)
  • Working days: Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
