Job summary
A global food addictive company is seeking for talented Lean Process Engineer.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Lean Processes: Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency and operational performance.
- Lean Tools Expertise: Utilize tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of current workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create and maintain SOPs to support lean manufacturing operations.
- Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship to production staff on lean principles and tools.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across departments to identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure seamless implementation.
- Compliance: Ensure all process improvement initiatives adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze data to evaluate the impact of lean initiatives and recommend further enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep updated with advancements in lean manufacturing methodologies and recommend changes to optimize processes.
Experience requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in process engineering, with a strong focus on lean manufacturing principles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in lean tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma (Green Belt certification or higher preferred).
- Competence in process simulation software, data analysis tools, and CAD applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams effectively.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to adopt new methodologies and technologies.
- Others: Ability to identify and address waste in processes, ensuring optimal efficiency across operations.
Education requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
