Job Responsibilities
We're looking for Accountant Assistant position, who is responsible for managing accounts payable, issuing invoices, and performing other financial and administrative tasks. The role requires attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
1. Accounts Payable (AP) management
- Process and verify vendor invoices and payment requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and service providers.
- Reconcile AP transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Handle queries related to accounts payable and resolve discrepancies.
2. Invoice management
- Prepare and issue VAT invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Check and compare VAT invoice quantities.
- Create new client code on Accpac system.
3. Support to Finance & Accounting Team
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and other documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounting ledgers.
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
4. Compliance and Record-keeping
- Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both digitally and physically.
- Support audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and information.
5. Other ad-hoc tasks
- Participate in projects and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Line Manager.
Education requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related fields.
- Good in English.
- Excellent in Excel / Accounting Software / Microsoft Office.
Your Profile
- You have 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance support role.
- You have strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- You are good at MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- You have effective communication skill & time management.
- You adhere to deadlines and prioritize your actions.
