Compliance Officer

Job summary

Our client, one of the Europe’s leading suppliers in fast fashion, providing integrated design to production services for the world leading garment retailers, is looking for a Compliance Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes align with our company's compliance and ethical standards, including social responsibility and sustainability policies.
• Social Audits: Conduct independent, periodic internal audits at factories in Vietnam and Cambodia. This includes experience with Better Work assessments, BSCI audits, SMETA audits, and WRAP. Proficiency in report writing and CAP (Corrective Action Plan) follow-up with factories is essential.
• Technical Audits: Collaborate with factories on capacity, capability, and metal control audits, when needed.
• Audit Preparation: Work with factories to prepare for third-party audits and buyer visits/audits.
• Higg FEM & vFEM: Possess strong knowledge of Higg FEM self-assessment and verification processes. Support and follow up with factories to ensure suppliers meet buyers' target scores. Address CAPs after verification if necessary.
• Environmental & Sustainability Expertise: Have good knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices, such as ZDHC wastewater testing and CAPs, ZDHC Gateway, and Chemical Inventory Lists (e.g., Bhive, BVe3). 

Experience requirements

• At least 05 years of in-depth understanding of the textile manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
• Familiarity with international standards related to quality assurance, social compliance, and sustainability practices.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required
