Database Administrator

Job summary

Adecco's client, a leading company in the information technology industry, is looking for a Database Administrator based in Hanoi.

Job Responsibilities

As the DBA, you will be responsible for the following: 

• Proactive support multiple PosgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB, SQL Servers Cassandra databases in SCP and on-prem system

• Support tasks include installation, upgrade, monitor, performance tuning, troubleshooting, High Availability...

• Coordinate and assist developers, other team members to document and maintenance internal tools

• Create technical document and procedures

• Backup, Restores database

• Monitoring existing production database, disk space, CPU, Memory Utilization, Session

Experience requirements

• Above 5 years of relevant experience in this specialized functional discipline including IT service (infrastructure/service, SaaS/On-premise, etc. regardless of type) (Preferred: 8 years of experience)

 Skills 

• Experience with one or more of these database: PosgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB, SQL Servers

• Experience working with processes at large organizations

• Great communication and working skills to build working relationships with team members in Vietnam and Korea

Education requirements

• University degree in Information Technology/ Telecommunication or related field
