Head of Mechanical Engineering

Job summary

Adecco's client is a global industrial system solution manufacturer based around Ho Chi Minh looking for a Head of Mechanical Engineering to join the manufacturing team here. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Mechanical Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and products for industrial painting applications. This role will oversee end-to-end engineering activities, ensuring performance, innovation, and manufacturability.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for systems and equipment (systems, conveyors, booths, etc.).
• Manage engineering team and coordinate cross-functional R&D projects.
• Ensure product compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Drive innovation, cost efficiency, and reliability in product design.
• Support manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Experience requirements

• 10+ years in mechanical system/product design, preferably in industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership, 3D CAD, FEA, and project management skills.

Education requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
