Job summary
Adecco's client - a global company in electronics product manufacturing is looking for Operation Excellence Manager to join its manufacturing facility around Ho Chi Minh city. This role will lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing, operational excellence, and change management within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies to enhance operational performance.
- Lead process improvement projects, driving efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings.
- Identify and analyze bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality) to implement best practices.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and success of initiatives.
- Provide training and mentorship on operational excellence methodologies to employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive automation and digital transformation projects to enhance efficiency.
- Support senior leadership in strategic decision-making and change management.
Experience requirements
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement roles.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Hands-on experience with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process standardization.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI, Minitab, etc.) and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in electronics, automotive, or consumer goods manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0, automation, and digital transformation trends.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
Education requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
