PD & Costing Manager

Job summary

Our client — a leading player in the Furniture/Sofa Manufacturing — is currently seeking a Costing & PD Manager (Chinese Speaking) to join their team in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead costing, product design, BOM creation, and PPS sample development
• Develop and manage quotation plans to ensure competitive pricing
• Prepare production drawings, technical documents, and product specifications
• Establish material consumption norms and raw material cost estimations
• Coordinate the development of samples, structural testing, and packaging/shipping plans
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions that enhance production and profitability
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all technical files
• Efficiently communicate technical details and customer requirements across departments and production teams

Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Design, Engineering, or related fields within manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost management or related functions.
• Familiar with end-to-end product development (PD), furniture materials, and costing procedures.
• Proficient in analyzing costs of furniture materials.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Demonstrates logical thinking, a proactive attitude, strong communication, and effective time management skills.
• Capable of working under high-pressure conditions.
