Job summary

Our client is a sportwear manufacturing located in Soc Trang.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Department Oversight

Oversee day-to-day operations of both the printing and embroidery sections.

Strategically plan workforce and production capacity to align with delivery targets.

Ensure a seamless transition from sample development to large-scale production.

Track departmental KPIs and initiate improvements where needed.

2. Sample Development

Collaborate with Merchandising and Sampling teams to review development briefs.

Guide technicians in creating accurate prototypes that meet customer expectations.

Verify the readiness of inks, threads, screens, hoops, and artwork before sampling.

Approve strike-offs and pre-production samples before submission.

3. Production Management

Monitor daily output to ensure deadlines and quality benchmarks are achieved.

Provide quick solutions to technical challenges during production runs.

Validate initial bulk output and give the go-ahead for full-scale production.

Fine-tune machine settings to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

4. Quality Control

Establish quality checkpoints within both printing and embroidery processes.

Work closely with QA/QC teams to address and prevent recurring defects.

Lead root cause analysis initiatives and enforce corrective actions.

5. Material & Inventory Control

Manage inventory of consumables such as inks, threads, films, screens, and hoops.

Approve ink formulation and thread matching according to style specifications.

Ensure organized storage, clear labeling, and traceability of all materials.

6. Team Leadership & Training

Supervise and mentor supervisors and technical staff in both units.

Identify skills gaps and implement targeted training programs.

Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, discipline, and teamwork.

7. Cross-functional Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact between Printing & Embroidery and departments such as Merchandising, Production Planning, and Quality Assurance.

Deliver regular updates on production status, sample progress, and team performance.

Ensure all buyer feedback is clearly communicated and appropriately addressed.


Experience requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing printing and/or embroidery operations.

In-depth technical expertise in screen printing, sublimation, heat transfer techniques, and automated embroidery machinery.

Proven leadership skills with a track record of supervising sizable teams and overseeing complex workflows.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly resolve production challenges and implement effective solutions.

Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and experienced with production monitoring or tracking software.
