Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive sales of Japanese Tires through garages and dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute effective sales strategies. This role requires a results-driven professional with in-depth knowledge of the tire industry and a proven track record in managing sales channels such as garages and dealerships.

Job Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets in the garage and dealership channels.

• Identify and prioritize key sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

• Work closely with marketing and product teams to roll out promotional campaigns tailored to garages and dealerships.

2. Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with garage owners, dealership managers, and decision-makers.

• Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts in alignment with company guidelines.

3. Channel Management:

• Expand the dealership and garage network to increase product reach and penetration.

• Monitor the performance of garages and dealerships, providing regular support and training to enhance sales.

• Conduct regular visits to key accounts to assess opportunities and address concerns.

4. Sales Performance Monitoring:

• Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.

• Forecast sales and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability and timely delivery.

• Identify underperforming accounts and develop action plans to improve results.

5. Market Insights and Competitor Analysis:

• Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

• Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to adapt strategies based on market intelligence.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute targeted promotional activities for garages and dealerships.


Experience requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the tire or automotive industry, with a focus on garages and dealerships.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

• Strong understanding of the tire market, including industry trends and key players.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales analytics software.

• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage


Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
