Senior Hardware Engineer (ATE design)

Job summary

Our client - an international solution provider and manufacturer is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer (ATE design) to join its talented team. This role is open for expats.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware solutions for automated testing of electronic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test requirements and system architectures.
• Create and integrate test and test systems using a combination of custom and commercial components.
• Develop and document test procedures, system designs, and technical guidelines.
• Program and optimize automated test systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with vendors to ensure proper implementation of test solutions.
• Conduct and review acceptance tests to validate system performance.
• Maintain records of test methodologies, software, and system specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in test automation.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline testing processes.

Experience requirements

• 5+ years in test automation hardware/software design for manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of circuits, schematics, layouts, and data sheets.
• Experience with industrial protocols (USB, GPIB, Ethernet, RS-485, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Hands-on integration of hardware/software for automated testing.
• Skilled in automation instruments (power supplies, DMMs, analyzers, generators).

Education requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
