Job summary

Our client, a global sourcing organization, is looking for Sourcing Manager who will play a pivotal role in sourcing new suppliers, researching and developing new products for Furniture, BBQ, Pottery, Basket & Storage, Hand tools, Room decoration, Garden Decoration, Seasonal decor/Xmas, Household, Toys, Home Improvement...

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with HQ team to fulfill product and project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and select competitive local & regional suppliers.
• Perform on-site audits to assess supplier capabilities.
• Ensure contracts are properly negotiated for price, delivery, quality, and compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, review product samples, and validate certifications.
• Keep Product Managers updated and assist in developing launch plans.
• Monitor order progress and address potential delays proactively.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure compliance.
• Stay informed on cost drivers to maintain a competitive edge.

Experience requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, Merchandising, or Supplier Development for European markets.
• Experience working in retailer buying/sourcing/trading offices is essential.
• Good knowledge of European safety standards, norms as well as legal safety norms required in Scandinavian markets.
• Strong understanding of production flow and quality management in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English & Vietnamese.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
