Supplier Quality Engineer - English/Chinese speaking

Job summary

Adecco's client is a FDI client with manufacturing base in Hai Duong.

Job Responsibilities

• Carries out supplier quality activities of supplied products and supplier quality issues in the plant within the order fulfillment process.
• Support advanced quality planning with suppliers during product development process, with specific consideration for cost efficiency and productivity.
• In series production, execute supplier evaluation, manage supplier process changes and initiate and coordinate corrective actions, to sustainably ensure quality agreed.
• Drive the sampling inspection process and decide acceptance or rejection of samples provided.
• Coordinate series production claim management of part and act as escalation instance to agree on remedial action plan until successful completion.
• Train suppliers to ensure adherence to APQP and PPAP requirements as agreed.
• Conduct production quality inspection and improvement activities for Sub-line (CNC/Over molding/Printing).
• Build part inspection standard and measuring/inspection instruction. 

Experience requirements

• Experience working with oversea supplier, SQE, quality management
• At least 5 years of supplier quality engineering experience or quality assurance
• Joint company/supplier product development experience

Education requirements

• Education
  • Graduated in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Skills
  •  Independently, and working with others, able to generate new ideas.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency; takes prompt action to accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated high level of curiosity, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills to improve supplier quality.
  • Open minded and willing to learn new knowledge in different scopes.
  • Good English or Chinese communication
  • Can communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
