Wave Soldering Engineer

Job summary

Adecco's client - a leading electronics manufacturer is looking for a Wave Soldering Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimize wave soldering equipment (e.g., ERSA, Electrovert).
• Maintain solder profiles, parameters, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot defects (e.g., solder bridges, cold joints) and implement CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and ESD practices.
• Conduct process validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Support training and collaborate with quality and production teams.

Experience requirements

• 2–5 years' experience in wave soldering for PCB assembly.
• Strong knowledge of through-hole soldering, flux chemistries, and thermal profiling.
• Proficient in SPC, defect analysis, and technical documentation.
• Certifications in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, Six Sigma/Lean, and ESD safety preferred.

Education requirements

• University degree in Mechatronics /Electronic/electrical, industrial engineering; Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
