Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the legal and official representative of the bank in China, promoting its image and interests.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, Chinese enterprises, business associations, local authorities, and diplomatic bodies.
  • Support the bank’s market development in China, including investment promotion and facilitating bilateral business connections between China and Vietnam.
  • Collect, analyze, and report market intelligence on the financial sector, Chinese outbound investment trends, government policies, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments in Vietnam to support customer transactions and strategic cooperation with Chinese partners.
  • Manage the Representative Office’s operations and staff, ensuring compliance with Chinese laws and the bank’s internal regulations.
  • Lead the licensing process and related procedures during the preparation phase for establishing the Representative Office.


Experience requirements

  • Chinese nationality and legally residing in Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Chongqing or Vietnamese talents who can communicate well in Chinese & English. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Banking, or Economics. A master’s degree and experience in international banks or financial institutions are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, banking, marketing, or senior management at multinational corporations, major financial institutions, investment funds, or consulting firms in China (Director level).
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and diplomatic skills; capable of building and managing multi-stakeholder relationships.


Education requirements

  • Bachelor degree or Master degree in Banking & Finance, International Economics, or related field.
