Job Responsibilities

Building the Distribution System

  • Gather and analyze information on the agricultural industry's distribution networks to inform the development of distribution system.
  • Propose plans to establish, operate, and manage the distribution system (Distributors/C1 & C2) to ensure a robust, professional, and sustainable network. This should align with the company's evaluation criteria, including coverage, quality of sales points, SKUs per point of sale, market share, and overall company direction for each period.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and relevant departments to suggest solutions for system development.
  • Coordinate with Regional Agronomist Sales Managers (RASMs) to implement distribution system development activities across regions. Plan and organize initiatives to assist RASMs, Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and Sales Executives (SEs) in establishing new C2 outlets.

Sales Management

  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Contribute to the development and recommendation of product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share.
  • Engage in overseeing and evaluating market research, adjusting sales strategies to meet evolving market and competitive conditions.
  • Manage pricing strategies to prevent market dumping.
  • Direct market channel development activities and coordinate sales distribution by establishing new sales territories.
  • Provide close supervision and direction to all regional managers and sales staff to ensure optimal results.
  • Safeguard corporate interests and contribute to corporate development by addressing cross-departmental issues and facilitating problem-solving.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the General Director and Head of Sales.
  • Work closely with RASMs to support all sales and marketing activities, with a focus on the distribution system.
  • Collect weekly and monthly reports from all RASMs and collaborate with the Solutions Transfer Manager in Territory 1 and Territory 2 to ensure tasks are executed as required.

Experience requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar sales management position within the agricultural sector, demonstrating a track record of success in building distribution networks and leading sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of building and managing distribution systems within the agricultural industry, including the application of new technologies for distribution system management.

Education requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Crop Protection, or related fields.
