Job Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of plant operations, covering production workshops, production planning, R&D, warehouse, logistics, security, and site management.
  • Develop and execute strategic production plans, focusing on optimizing workforce deployment, machinery utilization, and process improvements to boost productivity and reduce operational costs (e.g., material waste, energy consumption).
  • Design and implement an effective organizational structure for the Operations function; define manpower requirements and manage staffing plans accordingly.
  • Oversee training and development programs to enhance safety awareness, operational skills, and management capabilities among team members.
  • Ensure production schedules are met on time and in line with customer and business demands.
  • Supervise and optimize production planning (shift and daily scheduling for each machine), oversee inventory levels, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding quality standards.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain operational standards, processes, and procedures to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Enforce strict compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 standards, labor safety, fire prevention regulations, and internal corporate policies.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Experience requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of production operations, equipment management, and quality systems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive change and build high-performing teams.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing factory operations and solving on-the-ground challenges.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (Department Head or Plant Manager level) within a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in the packaging, printing, labeling, chemicals, or plastics industries is highly advantageous.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
