Job summary

A leading manufacturing and trading company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to drive its purchasing strategy and ensure seamless supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader passionate about optimizing procurement processes, developing supplier networks, and managing a high-performing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall procurement strategies aligned with company growth plans.
• Oversee domestic and international purchasing activities to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers, ensuring stable and compliant supply sources.
• Manage supplier evaluation, selection, and performance review processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Logistics team to ensure smooth transportation and customs clearance.
• Approve major purchase contracts, monitor deliveries, and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Lead, train, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and compliance with internal standards.

Experience requirements

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to understand technical drawings or knowledge of mechanical/construction materials is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical companies is preferred.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Foreign Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields.
