As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site General Director to lead our manufacturing facility and drive operational excellence

Job Responsibilities

• We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Site General Director to oversee all aspects of our food processing manufacturing site. The Site General Director will be responsible for maximizing efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Lead and manage all aspects of the manufacturing site, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, safety, and logistics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize site performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
• Establish production goals, targets, and KPIs in alignment with company objectives, and monitor performance against these metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase productivity, and enhance overall site efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to food safety, quality assurance, and environmental management.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and support to drive performance and achieve goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing, to support new product introductions and address customer requirements.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting site performance, achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Experience requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food processing operations, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and excellence.

Education requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
