Job summary

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated solutions for warehousing, including equipment such as conveyors, sorting systems, robotics, and autonomous transport vehicles.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as engineering, software, and operations to ensure seamless deployment of automation projects.
• Conduct operational assessments to identify automation opportunities and recommend technical improvements to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Prepare technical documentation including layout drawings, specifications, and schematics to guide system development and implementation.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and external vendors to evaluate products and manage component sourcing for automation solutions.
• Supervise testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.

Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse automation design or related engineering roles within industrial, logistics, or production settings.
• Proficiency with material handling technologies, industrial robotics, and autonomous vehicle systems.
• Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex technical projects.
• Skilled in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and simulation software.
• Solid understanding of warehouse workflows and integration with inventory and logistics systems.
• Familiar with PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and related automation platforms.
