Job summary

Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company with a strong presence and growth plans in the Vietnam market, is looking for candidates for Product Manager (ETC) in HCMC. This position is responsible for all the activities related to assigned products (planning and execution of brand plan or marketing activities, undertake product management tasks with objective that those products/brands are promoted successfully in Vietnam market.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Activities:

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and segmentation to guide brand planning and strategies for achieving marketing KPIs, including sales targets.
  • Conduct market surveys and collaborate with clients/management to develop marketing, brand, and product launch plans within budget.
  • Implement and monitor marketing plans, sales trends, and trade promotions, ensuring regional and channel performance.
  • Manage projects critical to the portfolio’s success, control budgets, and build relationships with KOLs and key doctors.
  • Support product listing in tenders, and plan/execute scientific symposiums, seminars, and promotional events.

Product Management:

  • Build product knowledge, provide training for sales teams, customers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate product importation and registration documents as needed.
  • Develop promotional materials (digital/print) based on competitive strategies, ensuring compliance with local policies.
  • Gather product feedback and work with clients to address issues.


Import Plan & Stock Management:

  • Forecast sales and collaborate with clients and supply chain for import planning, order placements, and stock management across warehouses.


Distributor management:

  • Being contact point and involve to follow up with distributor and internal functional departments for business related matters: meetings, reports, stock, budget & expenses, regulatory affair/registration, sales plan, audits, ….and other operational matters.


Other tasks:

  • Update the knowledge about competitor, government policy or the regulation in term of healthcare business (product registration, import, VAT tax, trade promotion and advertising,…)
  • Prepare reports related to marketing activities, follow up and manage A&P budget and actual expenses.
  • Collaborate with the cross functional team to ensure continuity of support for the business team (scientific, medical, technical and commercial team)
  • Perform ad-hoc activities as specified by management.

Experience requirements

  • Market insight, Product management, Brand/Marketing plan
  • Good Planning, Organizing and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge and keen experience in product management and marketing, especially marketing in hospital channel
  • Proven project management skills, strong analytical skill, client management and communication skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Good communication & Presentation skills, fluent in English.

Education requirements

Bachelor of Pharmacy and must have work experience in ethical products.
